Off topic...
But i am building a 440 with callies and wiseco, and a PRC LS7 top end and there is no way that motor would hold 6k for an hour. Cant imagen the ware on the motor.

I am currently going with Morel lifters, still looking where to get them.

I just installed a new type of lifter that Comp Cams just came out with. It is called a short travel lifter. just got the car back together last night. THIS lifter is almost like a solid roller lifter, but its not.
Dont have any fed back other then they are about as quiet as the stock ones.
This lifters will mostlikly need a custom pushrod (I did 7.280) unless u have adjustable rocker arms.

That is similar to the Morel hi rpm lifter I was describing. But with the Morel you can get it with the limited travel or without.

Not sure who makes the Comp and if it's the same body steel and wall thickness or not but they came out with them a little bit ago.

The popularity of the Morel has driven other companies to follow suit and I would not be surprised to find others offering re-badged Morels like Lunati but they generally aren't cheaper than the Morel

The comp lifters are totally different. The Isky and Lunati are also Morels and are usually a lil more expensive.

Morel makes there own stuff right here in Cleveland OH, USA. They are not made by anyone else but they do make them for many other companies like Lunato and Isky etc. Morel is the original maker.
