Cartech does have some good LS books from what I gather, I do not know how mine compares other than customer feedback - as I have not purchased the others just yet, I did get to see Chris Endres book a while ago. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to buy any LS-specific book, the more info the better I always think. I have half a dozen books on photography, and use them to try new and different techniques when I'm not busy writing.

Cool, did you happen to send me pictures from my "F-body book" post in the Forced Induction section? Your car sounds familiar - I can't remember the usernames who sent in images, just the real names from the emails.
Enjoy the publication!

I got the book recently as well. Everything I have seen thus far has been top notch with regard to the book, the writing, and the overall layout of the book.
I am still in the process of reading the book. While I have not had a chance to go over every single word or page in the book I will say that the book covers all the important point, and has good information related to every apsect of the LSx engine. I would highly recommend it for anyone's bookshelf...
As soon as I am done I will post up an ammended review. But, as I said, so far its definitely thumbs up.

My book finally arrived today after I bought it off of Overstock.com for a little under $20 shipped. Just thought I'd snap a few pictures so you guys could see it. It's got a ton of pictures in it, great for people like me who hate to read. But besides the pictures it's also got some great reading in it too for you poindexters out there. 176 pages front to back in fact...
Definitely worth the purchase!
Watch video in full size by clicking on the link below to see better detail. Sorry for the quality. The original was much more clear, I guess YouTube likes to compress the crap out of videos and degrades the quality.
