12-222-2 is for gmpp intake it willl not work with the edelbrock because it has oring grooves cut in the manifold. Finally after hours of hunting i called comp cams and talked to robin and he hooked it up.....

I run them all the time the groove means nothing there is still material on the inside and outside for them to seal on. The sealing bead on the felpro actually fits wre the O ring groove is.

thats good to know. i bought a set from felpro and was just about to do the same thing untill comp cams came around. I figured it would work but orings was optimal. The next problem is that the intake does not sit on the heads flush. It seems that the sides will need to ground to make this fit. Did you run into the same problem?
