Corvette has moved down to the ALMS GT2 class using a 6 liter version of the 7.0 liter C6R racing engine. After both Ferrari & Porsche lodged protests, Corvette now has to delete the direct fuel injection from this engine for the last two races this year.
Next year ALMS specs will require Corvette to downsize to 5.5 liters.
Early info indicates this will be a new block (production based) but additional info is sketchy.
Does anyone have, or is there a web site that has detailed info on this new block?

Ferrari and Porsche haven't raced them in the GT1 class. Their only competition has been the Aston Martins. What corvettes there have been in the GT2 class have been beaten quite frequently by the F cars and P cars.
