Ouch... (Jesel rocker arm failure)

I remember reading this back when it first happened. Have you clearanced the new stands to potentially fix this issue?

Got to give vettenuts some kudos on nailing it.

so let me understand this correctly....please correct me if i'm wrong....you purchased a set of rocker's and installed them. Didn't look to see if there was any issues with fitment with your combination. .i.e. Pushrod diameter, lifter height, etc. Attempted to dyno this disaster and then your pissed that the manufaturer wouldn't give you full credit ........wow !! Sound's to me your lucky you got any credit at all. I will honestly say that all my dealing's with t&d have been flawless including custom set's that have been built... To each there own i guess

The rockers he had were junk. We got stuck with some too. They were not designed correctly. They were made to fit under a valvcover at the expense of geometry. I have never had an issue with the normal race T and Ds but these LSx models that he had are not built right. The pushrod cup was relocated too far down and pushrod side geometry was horrible. Taking these off and going Jesel was night and day. Again the other T and Ds I've used have been flawless.

Well since this thread is back alive again, I saw a set of aluminum Jesel Rockers similar to these fail. Granted the guy was running nearly 800lb open. Way more than he should have, also the ones that didn't fail started to sieze up the rotating parts in the rocker.

These were off a BBC. This is what happens when you run way too much pressure. The bearing it pivots on is shot as well.
