AFR 205's or L92's on a 408?
While I would love a big LSX 454 with LS7 heads for my 69, I will have enough to spend on odds and ends doing the swap. I'm thinking of keeping it cheaper by doing a 408 in the iron 6.0 block. I know the 205's are a bit small but I do have the 205's (with premium springs), Fast 90, Nick Williams 90, YT ultralites, etc still sitting around. Well, I actually have everything that is my sig.... just haven't sold it yet. So instead of losing a ton selling them, I could use them and sacrifice a little HP and make it up in TQ. Or is the potential of the L92's that much more? I just don't see many that can run a decent sized cam that doesn't get reversion (with a stock LS3 intake). It seems when they scale back on the duration of the cam, that they don't lose much HP which means the combo wasn't working right. The cathedral port heads are pretty straight forward when it comes to getting a combo working right. Will the 205's work good enough on that many cubic inches?
