We had a customer bring his 1969 Camaro in for some tuning. The car was part of a contest held by a local radio station, 94.7 WCSX. JJ & Lynne’s Stone Soup Project was inspired by a fable wherein everyone throws something in the pot to make a great meal. The JJ & Lynne Stone Soup Project harnessed the generosity, expertise and ingenuity of WCSX listeners from around the Detroit area to rebuild a 1969 Camaro from the ground up to raise money for The Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan.

It's a very cool car that features an LS3 with a Harrop 2300 intercooled supercharger. We originally put the car on the dyno to see what kind of power it made, but found that it could use some tuning. Maybe it was "detuned" since they didn't know who would win the car, but there was a lot to be had from a tune. The results were almost unbelievable.... or maybe it was the before numbers that were unbelievable. With the blower it made almost the same power as a stock LS3.

Baseline numbers were 362 RWHP / 392 RWTQ. After tuning and no other modification, it made 507 RWHP / 506 RWTQ.

Honestly, I'm not sure what was used. We didn't do anything to the car other than tune it.
