VVT LY6/L92 (1.7) with LS7 (1.8) rockers... is it possible or even worth it?

VVT LY6/L92 (1.7) with LS7 (1.8) rockers... is it possible or even worth it? I'm debating getting a set of LS7 rockers for my LY6... they should fit, correct? I know they both share the offset design, but are they interchangeable?
Also, being that my motor is Variable Valve Timing, will there be any piston to valve clearance issues?
I guess I could pose the same question about a L92...

They won't fit. The pivot distance is different.
Many people have tried......
I know someone will come on here and say that their buddies cousin made them work.
If so the geometry is wrong. I would take a lot of different components to make it work. Fulcrums, valves, springs pushrods just a start.

OK, cool - thanks for the info. I guess it's not such a huge deal since I may just end up changing the cam phasing when I get it tuned, but I'm not sure what kind of power gains are to be had there.
