NEW LS-R Edelbrock head?

well they aren't going to be cheap, .. I'm not a sponsor here, am I even allowed
to quote prices?, .. .. I'd have to guess around $4k bare, .
They are available now, .. with either a converted cast manifold ( expensive ) or sheetmetal.

$8,000 plus.....I wonder why head manufacturers never price their parts so more people can buy them. Thats a ridiculous price. Simple economics proves that if the price of a product is wanted by many.....you will make more profit by selling more units at a lower price, rather than less units at a high price. Very few people will be buying those.

Well if you wanted to go fast, I guess you should get some $1,050 stage 2.6 CNC ported heads then. And show up at some headup stuff
I'm sure guys going to run a head like this are shopping with running one of the 224 cams, that have sold a lot of them too.

i dont see why anyone would pay prices that high for that kinda stuff. $8000 for heads, $2500 for rockers and $4000 for a manifold...
Thats $14,500... what could i do with $15,000...

ET performance sold canted valve heads for basically same price.
Unfortunately profit leads to good customer service, within a good company.
From my understanding these heads are casted by edelbrock but finished by an outside machinist. $$$
I don't think the $2000 rocker arms were mentioned either?
Theirs plenty of lesser expensive options around.

set of BBC big chiefs with Ti valves are that plus, ..
good set of fully decked out 13* or 9* wedge heads
can get close to that, ..
The really trick heads for comp eliminator can go over $14k, nhra pro stock $26K per set with a two set min.
There's not nearly as much profit in this stuff as many think, it takes a TON of machines work, time, labor
and expensive cnc machines, .. .. plus the infastructure
to hand customer service.
, . besides that, I haven't seen any discussions on builds that could use this.

430ci solid roller, 937 key ways, 60mm roller bearing cam, two carb sheet metal intake. Running a heads up n/a sereis in 2010. Must run 8.50 or its a waste to show. I need these heads.

GM also tends to be more conservative with the flow numbers for their heads.
