Default how much n20 on a LSX 454?

hey guys got a question for anyone who knows a little about LSX's. ok i want to build a LSX from GM and i am stuck between building a 427 or a 454. but i know i at least want to spray a 200 shot on the car. But i have heard the with a 454 you cannot spray that much. But if i go to a 427 will i still be able to make around 600rwhp n/a with a good set of heads?

Do a 434ci....4.155 bore x 4" stroke

400 shot, no problem. And it'll be a badass N/A performer too.

What he said.....

We spray a 275 shot on the dyno, more at the track.

Like he said, keep it small towards the 430 range.

Don't know who would have said it won't take a big shot

Mine is a 443, 4" stroke with a 4.200 bore. I plan on spraying the 300's.

wow, I didn't think there would be enough gasket between cylinders at 4.200"

GM has its new LSX iron tall deck now. ERL, Warhawk and RHS make tall deck blocks too. They are very expensive. You also need custom built LT's which are gonna cost a pretty penny.

What are you looking to do? A 434ci with a 300 shot will make about 900 RWHP.

I'm still up in the air what to do with my LSX iron block. Been researching everything. single turbo, sc'er and spray.

A 434ci with decent heads and intake should make 600-650 RWHP on pump gas...spray it with a 300 shot when needed....you'll be one of the fastest street cars in the country. It'll be a highway pulling monster. You'll be walking away from almost every big liter bike too. Unless they modded their bike quite a bit.

well the cubic inch question is what i needed an answer on. i get up here alot and research and was just looking for a straight foward answer. and i really appreciate your answer. this defenately puts me in the right direction. i already have this car running 9.90's with a 383 on a 200 shot.

but you know how it goes, you cant never be fast enough haha.

and im like you, i would love to build a turbo car, but then you are talking about some big money. the lsx build will be expensive enough.

Keeping it to a 4" stroke is a good idea due to cylinder length (not the tall deck) so the 434 is a good way. 4.155 bore x 4" stroke
We actually just completed a nitrous build for a customer like this. LSX 434 built for a 400 shot. It is running a Wilson Bank Billet intake with direct port and plate wet kit for dual stages.
