Default What vendor here has LS3 pistons.

I am looking for 4.065 or 4.070 pistons that would work on the LS3/L92/L99 with a 4.100 stroke. Going to be squeezing a 300 shot. I need something on the shelf not 3-4 weeks out.

I can get you into Wiseco's as well. They offer a +3cc dome, -11cc dish, -14cc dish, and a -30cc dish (custom stuff is available but with some time delay of course). All of their 4.100" stroke stuff for the LS3 block are 4.070" bore.

Here is what happened.

I drove the car about 1100 miles to California for a heads/cam and nitrous install and when the shop removed the heads this is what they found:

One piston(#7) was damaged by something. They found metal pieces from a broken valve spring seat. The car is a 2010 Camaro and only had about 3K miles on it. We figured we might as well stroke it and put some better parts in it instead of a stock replacement piston.

We were going to go with Manley pistons, rods and crank but they don't have it in the cr we need. We want to keep it below 10.5(stock) cr and will be doing a max of 300 shot of nitrous. The crank they had was a 4.100" inch though.

I have in my garage a Callies Dragon Slayer 4" crank I was going to use on my 408 stroker but the engine builder used a different crank. I also have some Oliver billet I-beam rods.

So if I use my existing crank(Callies) and rods(Oliver) what pistons can I use to maintain 10.5 cr and still push a 300 shot?

Is there anything I can get shipped ASAP?

BTW, I have P&P WCCH with a 70cc's.

Also, I will be running this in an auto with a VVT cam with .593 and the stock pistons had valve reliefs.

Wonder if you could get GM to give you anything ?? Seems to me you should still have a warranty of some kind right? GM would probably put a new long block in. Then you could sell that and do the stroker. Either way looks like fun. I have an LS3 427 that just got done being built with the callies 4.1 stroke compstar rods and manley pistons. I plan on spraying up to a 200 shot on that. Their were plenty of nay sayers back a year or so ago about that, surprised nobody has threw in there .02 on it. Looks good and keep us updated on how everything goes.
