i believe some have, its getting very very close at that point though.. you have to get it tested because it may not have enough wall thickness to, but at the same time it may.
ive read alot of threads on this so a search may be helpful, alot of people want to put ls7 heads on this block but they have a 4.1 min bore.
you could always sleeve it but then your cheap idea will be thrown out the window...
