I found a bunch of similar threads claiming that they "heard of" stock valves breaking in L92 heads... My money is on poor valve control or **** poor installation skills. Making me lean back towards the duals again LOL ayayayyyy this is rough haha
I have L92 valves in my car from the factory, You will get fade with aggressive lobes with duals over time, It will sneak up on ya too.

Id go with Patriot extremes if u wanna change em regularly(again some ppl get a good run) but sometimes with a cam like that fade will set in if you rev it hard.

Ideally Nitrided wire is the go it lasts longer 1521s for duals or 1518 for singles, Id run the 1518 its what i am going to with L98 valves.

I have seen a valve drop with singles before was the spring broken I am not sure I think it was from valve float and over revving and poor install on 1218, If you ran a better spring on correct install no probs.

Piston 2 valve clearance is the biggest killer with these and valve float. A shimmed up 1518 and ti retainer is a good start.

good info. I've pretty much decided on the 1518's for a fe reasons. My cam grinder recomends them, I haven't found any 1518 breakage issues, and most importantly because I'm running a VVT phaser they don't seem to last very well with high pressure duals.
