Valves cover problem !??
Valves cover problem !?? I currently building a LY6 engine with L92 head, etc.. in my 99 Camaro. But when I install the valves covers(99 camaro) in with the rockers install, the passenger side cover hit the rockers. The deflector thing for I think vaccum hit the rockers. I have the LY6 covers but it dont have the vaccum tube. Is this will cause vaccum problem if I take the LY6 cover instead of my 99 cover?? Here's 2 pics of the covers...

I had to remove the internal baffles and the bosses on my valve covers to clear my rockers. I would modify your 99 covers to clear because the tube is part of the PCV system and needs to be connected.
But if I trim the baffle in the 99 cover, the tube will be in contact with more oil. Do the engine can suck more oil from the pcv system?
If I install the LY6 one, I can block the passenger pcv tube and only run the driver side? Can I delete all the pcv system?

Don't delete the whole system but on the newer LS2 the drivers side is blocked off on cars..( trucks still use it) But it will function perfectly like normal with just the pass side tube used...
