10.40@131. Was done a couple years ago with a 454 with 13:1 compression, stripped drag car, etc.

Car has some left in it too. It was 10.9 A/F from the 1/8th to the 1/4. Gotta figure out why the motor runs rich. It runs 11.8-12.0 all through 3rd on motor too. I'm commanding 12.88. ??

Need to tweak some on the shift points and get the a/f a little more leaned out and I should be able to get in the 9.6-9.7 range I think. The 9.98 run was on 60% hit and 1 second ramp.

shoulda been faster if you were'nt too scared and letting off on first gear on your last pass... Good runs and tons of fun... Oh and I shoulda taken that chick out for a ride around the parking lot, I think I would of gotten at least a BJ...LMAO

Joe,

In talking with Magnum on the GTO board who is the current fastest with nitrous cutting 1.3x 60' he says the key is the ramp rate on the launch. He said you should not spray more then 5% on the initial hit, but ramp in the full shot by .5 sec. He said the slightest tire spin destroys your 60' and of his thousands of track passes this has been the best way.

So with Crandall out where are you going to race now? Or do you plan on putting in a cage? If you do I can get you in touch with the guy in florida who is shipping me mine. it is not to expensive, just have to pay someone to put it in when it gets here.

The car actually wasn't spinning at all. The last pass I actually set it to no ramp and it held fine. But it hit so hard I panic'd thinking it was going to spin and slightly lifted in 1st and got back into it. Ended up still hitting a 1.46 but went 10.1@136.

What I need to do is figure out why the car is running rich. It's 11.8s-12.0s on motor too. Even though I'm commanding 12.88. Also I have to figure out how to setup the shifts because it shifts lazy on the jug.

I have an air card. Had it for almost a month. I was going to take it back though because it's been almost a month that I got it and I'll own it in the next week or so If I don't take it back.

Since I was down 2.5 tenths and 3mph on motor because of the DA does that mean the nitrous passes were affected too? I mean if the DA were better like it was on my 10.44 run would I have ran a 9.7? Just wondering if nitrous is affected by DA also.
