Ive done all the measurements on an LQ4 with L92 heads for compression. It was 9.14:1. Milling a few ccs wont give you much more compression.

If you believe the books.

Sometimes you have to check for yourself to find out. The only part on mine I didnt physically check was the head gasket compressed thickness.

What books, this is just a calculator. I CC'd my heads, check the dish on the piston, measure how far above the deck the pistons are, compressed GM head gasket is .052, ID of my 6.2L head gaskets are 4.065. etc etc.

Don't know what to tell you, not much more to measure.

Even with cam I ran before and the one I have now I do not have PTV issues or any other problems. My math and physically measuring of my engine seems to work.

Hey 69LT1bird,I like the combo,i'm looking to do a similar one. How does it feel with that new cam? Have you run it down the track yet to get new numbers?

No track times yet. I am trying to finish up my tuning. The weather here hasn't been the most cooperative. The cam feels great, nice lopey idle, feels much better in the higher rpm ranges, much better breathing, still breaks the tires loose without hardly trying. I think it will be a good cam for my car. I still need to move the shift points up a couple hundred more rpms. The track opens Easter weekend so I will shoot for the weekend after that. That first weekend will be a zoo.
I heard on flat tops, this cam will require flycutting. One side benefit so far is the valvetrain is very quiet. Gotta like that part.

I agree. How much were your heads milled?
