The basics are a few posts up, but I don't want to go much beyond that. I was asked not to go into a full "build thread" at this time because there's a good chance there will be a magazine article or two about it. Once that either happens or doesn't, I'll be back with all the details.

We use the same program as our factory Stage 2 LS7 program with the addition of a machining operation on the chambers. (For those needing a slightly larger chamber we can grow them 4cc). See here: Stage 2 LS7 Flow

These heads are only available as complete assemblies including the somewhat fragile sodium exhaust valves. The pricing breaks down as follows:
Cylinder heads assemblies $2510.00 (pr.)
Stainless exhaust valves $151.00
Complete labor including surface milling and re assembly $1000.00

The supplied springs are beehive PAC springs and most of the time we install a heavier dual spring assembly($290.00). BTW these heads are machined to accept up to 1.550" diameter springs but be careful because the pad heights are raised approx .050" leaving less installed height.

Hey Richard

How do u compare with with LS7 All pro heads?

I'm thinking of LS7/LSX440 shortblock with +300 shots

We now have an LS7 program for the All Pro -12 heads. These heads will allow use of factory LS7 valve and rocker components. The castings have 3/4" thick deck areas and a 6 bolt pattern. Factory valves and larger spring pads make for a great hyd. roller cam cylinder head. NO shaft rockers are required with these "retro fit" heads.
This head is an aftermarket design of a factory LS7 head and will accept stock valve covers.

If you require a shaft rocker setup then the current All Pro 285-105-6X head is an excellent choice for mechanical roller cams up to .750" lift.

Updates with pricing and options will appear on our website in the next 2 weeks.

Richard,

What would be the benefit on using your all pro( out of the box or ported) vs your fully ported LS7 on a hyd cammed 440?

I don't wish to hijack the OP's thread. I'll post up a separate thread regarding the retro fit All Pro's shortly. In the meantime if you'd like more info you can contact us by phone of email.

I'll look again in the morning. I've been staying up on all inquiries and not sure how/why I missed yours.

I thought that looked familiar JJ. That is a nice cam!!

Hey, at least I gave ya credit. I didn't, and still don't, know what lobes and lift you use, just the duration and LSA/LCA. Thanks! for being one of the shops that is willing to publish your numbers! You guys are a class act!

Slowly, slowly, it comes together. Here are a couple of pics after it was taken back down after mock-up. Now we're waiting for the pistons to come back from Calico. Hopefully it'll be finished in mid-June.

My first look at the lower half of this build. Very well done sir! Can't wait to see the finish.

Definitely a solid choice for your cam selection.

Thanks for posting progress pics of this build.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I was on vacation for a week. Yes, the heads have the stock GM/Del West Ti intakes.

Richard ported a set of LSX LS7's for me and they make monster numbers! I was extremely worried because out of the box they only flowed 314 cfm. After WCCH, over 300 cfm beginning at just .400 lift. Max cfm 399.1 To give you an example my old LS6 stage 3's from MTI only flowed 331 cfm max. Richards program is very effective and will give great average across the rpm range. I expect to see 600 rwhp on my C5R buildup and I'm building for torque! Awesome.
