Keep in mind magnaflow exhaust really muffles things. My buddy has an 04 GTO with a Trex cam that sounded awesome with the stock 04 duals. Now with the magnaflow you'd never have a clue the thing has a trex in it. It sounds amazing up top though.

Cam seems to have fantastic manners without a tune yet.

I got my dyno tune this weekend so here's my numbers for my 227/235 .639 .621 114 LSA+2

Here's the full setup: LY6 engine 6.0L iron block(stock short block), L92 hand ported heads(340 cfm @.600) milled .035, LS3 ported intake, 227/235 cam, 85mm MAF, 1 3/4 headers, catted 3" Y pipe, 3" cutout, magnaflow catback, underdrive pulley, textralia OZ700 z grip clutch, 3" driveshaft, Moser 9" & 4.11 gears.

Static comp is 10:1, timing at 31.5°, A/F around 12.8

462.5 rwhp @ 6500 & 420lbs @ 5000 (SAE corrected)

Higher run is open cutout, lower is close. Tell me what you think about my numbers.

The dyno is a Dynocom, but I will do a other run on a Mustang dyno in maybe a month to see the difference.

Here's is a little video with open cutout. Enjoy!

Damn that mother ****** pulls hard an ramps quick.... Sounds pretty good to me My camshaft is a 251/259 660/663 111LSA... It's big, but when i get the intake & throttle body for it i'm sure it's gonna make numbers an i drive it everyday. The only down fall with my setup is it doesn't have a MAF on so it doesn't run good consistantly... It made on a dyno jet 527/475 to the wheels through a M6 an 4:10's

Nice numbers and SOUNDS SICK! I'd be delighted with 450+ whp and my build is VERY similar to yours so Im feeling good about it.

Build is retaining VVT on a stock bottom end 6.2L, stock L92 heads, 222/230 EPS cam, 1 3/4" LT's, 2.5" y and single 3", LS3 intake ( soon to be ported ) ported TB, UD pulley, 85mm MAF, tex z grip, 3.73

Pretty similar... Hope I get decent numbers out of it.

BTW any idea what the difference is between a Mustang dyno and a Dynocom? Which is more generous?

PwrdbyLs1, nice video! Your car is frickin sweet!

I am going with either the 227/235 or the 231/235 for my LS2, I am going to be staying with a cathedral port setup...

Ya im interested too. I have a l92 lower end with tsp 5.3 heads on it with a lsl 235/243 621/624 on a 111 in a 2000 trans am m6 and love it. its a tad rough, about the same as my old ls1 with a tsp 233/239 cam which is fine for me. it put down 473 whp and 436 foot pounds on a mustang dyno. i ended up running several 11.4x at 125.xx with a best of 126.23. and i got alot of compliments at the track from other lsx owners on how quiet the valve train sounded.
