Default another which cam thread

Ok im building a 416 LS3 stroker for my trans am (M6). i have a tsp 418 stroker kit im going to have AES install. it consists of callies compstar crank and rods. and -3cc wiesco pistons. I am having TEA do a stage 2 port on my l92 heads and install the ls3 intake valves and patriot .650 springs i already have new in box. I have a new fast 102mm intake and new 102 throttle body already sitting here waiting. have arp head studs, and main studs. i have the nasty fuel rails for the fast intake and 42# injectors. i have all the conversion wiring and parts i need. the only thing i have left to order are tsp 1 7/8 headers and a cam. I have been looking around the forum the past few days and have seen a lot of good info and am leaning toward the G6X3 from LG. I called LG and was asking about the G6X4 but they said the G6X3 has about the same horsepower and torque as the G6X4 but the G6X3 drives better. Just looking for some options on what cam to run with this set up. I plan on running around a 11.8:1 compression maybe alittle higher. looking for some descent drivabilty. it doesnt have to be great just descent and of course the most HP and TQ possible. let me know what u guys think

When in doubt, go smaller on the cam and lower on the static compression. The L92s seem to make better power with optimum timing and lower compression, than lower-than-optimum timing and higher compression. WKMDC learned this early on. He made better power with compression closer to 11.0:1 and more timing than 12.0:1 with lower timing.

It's also been shown time and time again that the L92 heads, especially the ported ones, don't need a lot of overlap to make big power. In fact, you might actually go faster with the smaller cam.
