lq9 with a 4.8 crank?

Default lq9 with a 4.8 crank?

Well im almost finish with my 94 cam. my 5.3 is almost done, but im hearing ideas about a lq9 with a 4.8 crank. What can i rev it up too, should i change motors. Anybody know a good combination for those? Somebody drop some info on me.

You'll basically end up wasting a lot of time and money. What you will have is an engine with considerably less power and torque, yet can't rev any higher because you'll be limited by the valvetrain. Stock 3.622" stroke streetcar engines are turning 7-7.5k RPM, while 4" stroke race engines are turning ~10K RPM.

Waste of time unless your class rules require a small ci engine. I have built a couple small crank engines for class racing reasons, but the power in reasonable ci is worth using.
