Exclamation ls7 tita rods

first off yes ive searched lol.

im thinking about purchasing a rotating assembly with an eagle crank ls7 rods and forged 4.130'' pistons flat tops.

My issue is that even if i make 600rwhp i know the rods will be fine. So my concern is if i eventually want to go boost, will the rods hanle 900rwhp or something similar? i havent heard of anyone breaking any but is this something i should be concerned about? I know i wil have to change out the pistons to some reverse dome style. but i dont want to change out rods if i dont have to.

Any info would be great. Thanks, by the way the rods have been rebushed already with upgraded wrist pins and arp bolts.

Hey, I wouldn't put the rods under 900 hp. Have have been tested to 700ish but that is about it, great N/A rods not so much the boost side of things, you want a steel rods with good bolts. I'll PM you about it.

when the LS7 was first introduced, the rods could be had REALLY cheaply. GM eventually caught on and jacked the price up x's 10

^ The day I went to buy a set was the day they raised the price. I was pissed that I missed it on the same freaking day.

I haven't seen anyone break one of these rods. I think if people can push a lot around 800 rwhp on stock rods with ARP bolts these titanium rods should be able to take the same amount. Boost is easier on an engine that nitrous and you should have a really nice compression height with those short rods.
