Default Comp Cams 11/32" dia pushrods

Rep stopped by today from Diamond/Trend/Comp Cams.

Chatted for a few minutes he asked if theirs anything out there not offered by us. Figured since its been in back of my mind, how about 11/32" pushrods a shelf item, maybe .100-.120" wall? Carry loads better then 5/16 .080 wall pushrod, clear TFS heads.

double taper pushrod.

Anyone interested?

At what level have you seen these make a difference? They have already been proven to not do anything on a heads/cam LS1 with PAC 1521's.

At more spring pressure and more rpm and with different lobes you will see more and more difference.

Thinking of some 5/16 - 3/8 tapers (.080 wall) for 7200 rpm.

I have Trend double taper in mine with AFR 8019 springs. They did make a difference from about 6,100 RPM up. Peak power increased only 6 hp, but the thing of note was any increase indicates the 5/16" pushrods were likely not happy at that RPM.

We sell 11/32 on TFS intakes and always have but you need to know what length you need like anything else. We use 3/8ths on exhaust usually.

With the overwhelming response I see in this thread, I don't see it happening.

Yeah it's not a huge seller that's for sure Fraser but we sell quite a few on all the TFS deals we do but none really on the open market much.
