L76/LS7 Swap questions.

Default L76/LS7 Swap questions.

I have a G8 and was wondering how hard or easy it may be to swap my L76 for an LS7. I can get a pretty good deal on the LS7 so instead of adding a bunch of different pieces to get close to 500rwhp I figured I could start closer then add pieces. Is this possible and how much (if any) modifications will I need to do to make it work?

If you wet sump the LS7 it is pretty straightforward and a reasonably common swap. There is even a factory LS7 tune as a special G8 model downunder came with the LS7 (not a factory fitted engine though). The stock dry sump pan doesnt fit in the G8 as is.

So it looks as if the only modifications would be to the oil pan or location of the oi pan?
