Default Which rods are in my 6.0 ?

I have a 6.0 engine, cast iron block from a truck. It has dished pistons. How do I find out which rods it has? I put a set of LS3 heads on it. I also bought a new timing set from Jegs. The new timing set has as much slack as the old stock one had. The motor only had 15,000 miles. Are there two lengths of chains? One for engines with tensioners and one for engines without? Also where is the serial# on the block? I would think I could take the # to the dealer to search about the year etc.
Thanks.

What year truck is it?

2004 + LS engines have floating pins

only 1 size timing chain, the gears can vary in thickness, their is heat expansion in the block that will take up slack in the timing chain.

cloyes chain sets we find fit best.
