h/c 402 or boosted plz help i have a 1990 rx7 that im finishing the rearend and suspension now will be looking for my motor soon. i have a ls1 that i was going to make a forged 347 h/c and call it a day but have since changed my mind.
im trying to decide between a h/c 402 which i have estimated costing around 6-6.5k for a turnkey motor correct me if im wrong. and a turbo 5.3 which with fuel,turbo stuff,and junkyard 5.3 should have me at or around 4.5-5.5k while i build the ls1 that i have .
both can get me in the 9's in my chassie last weighed in at 2710 with junk in the car and a half tank of gas. but which would be the better buy and more reliable setup it will be a auto stalled car driven to track to drag race and out on the streets cruising once a week.

also 450+whp is what im looking to make. i read car craft and have since seen that a lq4/9 with l92 heads and a custom cam may make around 550 flywheel which is crazy but it was done with a carb intake and a carb so im not sure how a ported ls3 mani woud replace that. hmm so what do you guys think
