+also FYI, in terms of the balance comment...rough balance is included in the price.

I'd say 9,000 RPM would be a limit for a Callies LS crankshaft, beyond that may need Billet.
Billet crankshaft is stiffer, less likely to vibrate.
Strength wise, non twist 4340 forged crankshaft vs. Billet ; theirs strong cases for both sides.
Six counterweight crankshaft have less 'moment of inertia.'
Eight counterweight crankshaft is easier to balance a heavy bobweight.
People say Nascar, F1, ALMS, top fuel all run billet crank, thats why they're best. Billet crankshafts like billet turbo compressor wheels, it comes down to manufacturing costs. You wouldn't see as many Billet crankshafts being produced if Forged crankshafts didn't need expensive dies etc.
Other issue ran into, running an engine at 9,000 rpm, may need an overbalance. Circle track engine builds run into this more often, while a engine maybe balanced 50%, sitting on 9000 rpm it vibrates and needs extra weight added, 52, 53%. Thats where a Billet may not have an issue but a forged crankshaft may need the overbalance.
