LS Warhawk block
Trending Topics
The first Warhawk I built a few years back (one of the original castings) had to have the mains align honed before use, but I haven't had problems from them lately. I haven't used an RHS block yet but hear good things about them, though they haven't been out very long. Either a Warhawk or RHS block can take serious power, that's for sure.
I've had more machine work required on GM LSX blocks than anything else I've ever built, they have their place but are my personal least favorite of the aftermarket blocks.
The World heads , I tend to pass on. Every Warhawk I've built has used either GM LS7 or ETP heads, with great results.
In regards to that thread in the Corvette forum, I'd take the problems that were had with a grain of salt becuase at the center of that disaster was an incompetent scumbag scammer "Chris Harwood". He appeard to fabricate problems to cover up for his own poor work ethic. He had problems with nearly every aspect of that build, and flat out robbed the owner of time, money and parts. He has since been evicted from him building, and started another shop with a different name because the last shops name was mud.
Read up on all the problems that were had even after a replacement RHS block engine was built here:

Again , no problems with either the RHS block or the Warhawk block from that fiasco, just an incompetent *****.
The problem that RichZ had was with one of the World heads.
