6.0 build need a little help

Default 6.0 build need a little help

I have a ls1 in a 99 T/A cammed and stalled basically has 116000 miles and i spun a bearing somewhere, havent taken it apart yet but i am considering a 6.0 build since i have to pull the engine anyways and i would love the 500hp range n/a.

Junkyard locally has a bunch of LQ4 blocks no LQ9's and i can get a complete engine for about 800 with 140k on it....
I talked to my engine guy todays and he suggested a .30bore and a 4.1 stroke rotating assembly, i have stock heads on my ls1 (1999 model) i think they are 66cc and with that setup my compression would be like 11.7 so basically what im looking for is a good head, preferably inexpensive in the 72cc rage to get to the 10.4 compression range. I would like to use the stock rockers and my springs/push rods out of the ls1 (if i can) and they go up to 600 lift i believe and the cam in the ls1 is a 224/230 580-588 114 (assuming i can use it) if not no big deal.

Any advice or complete different setups i will consider
my budget is about 4k

maybe i will try this a different way

I have a LS1 with the cam listed above, 10000 miles on the cam, new springs and push rods

Assume i have a 6.0 lq4 complete engine sitting right next to it with 140k on it

What can i do for $4,000? Do i need a rotating assembly? will the stock bottom end work just fine? How are the stock heads on the lq4? shitty? i have seen the l92 head but most of them come bare, i have also seen the E94 head....whats better? I really want to run a cam that has a big thump to it to take advantage of my dual cutouts. Also i have 1 5/8 headers i believe is that too small for a 6.0?
