The stock bore is 4.065 and I am putting a 4.070 piston in mine. I know 4.080 pistons are made for L92/ls3 blocks. How far can you go before you lose integrity of the block? I don't have an answer for that.

Possibly, if you have a perfectly cast block. I have an L92 that the liners appear to be off-center. I'm sure it was bored correctly, but if the liners were not perfectly set when cast in, the wall thickness will be thin on one side like mine. I'll try to go for 4.080 as I'm not into nitrous...

That is typical of the liners to not be dead center.

I wouldn't go all the way out to 4.100 on an ls3 block. I would just get an aftermarket block at that point and go to 4.125 since I would be able to buy off the shelf pistons instead of having to get custom pistons for 4.100. You could possibly pick up an ls7 block from somewhere or go LSX to keep the cost down and the future possiblity to go wayyyy bigger.
