Default GM crate LSX 454 Cam/valvetrain?

Can anyone tell me who grinds or how aggressive the cam profile is for the GM crate LSX 454 hydraulic cam? I already have the basic specs from the GMPP book, but would like to know specifics about the actual grind profile, ie. does it have an aggressive ramp profile or will it be easy on the valvetrain? I'm thinking about trying it in a marine race application with sustained WOT at around 5700-6000 rpm. Valvetrain is usually our weak link and as the components are theoretically matched, I don't want to start changing cams/parts. We're currently using and having good luck with the GM Crate CT525, but would like to move up a class.

Thanks in advance.

We've used the Comp BBC Extreme Marine low lift lobes in endurance and high RPM applications with great success.
