Default Are these Trickflow heads good?

Guys I'm doing a h/c combo soon and was wondering if these are some good heads to go with. I think there reltively cheap comparing to other trick flows. Would these heads be good with a vrx5 cam?https://www.vengeancerd.com/ecart/pr...Cylinder-Heads

Yes, those are excellent heads. A search will yield many threads where these are discussed - here is one:

They're cheaper because they are "as-cast" they don't have the cnc work done to them like other trickflows. They are to me a "porters" head, they can be made to your engine profile. You would yield another 20-30 hp if there was port work done to them.

I LOVED those heads and wished I could of used them on my 416 build! But they were milled to 60cc's!

I made 457hp with a vrx5 and as cast TFS heads! with a 90 FAST, and full bolt ons. Milled to 60cc and YOUR gonna fall in love. Then wait til 4k rpm and you'll see the real animal come out in the cam!

PS wrong section, it should of been in the genIII sec
