I would wait a while longer if you can. I am betting it will be worth it if you are doing a 416 or bigger where ya can really use it.

Yeah - I'm very interested in these heads on a LS3 427 with an LS7 intake. If the price is reasonable.

Intake ports on the current version is right about 266cc. That's about 5cc larger than a stock LS3 head. Head moves 240+cfm at .300....

We made around 700 flywheel with a LS7 manifold, 230cc 4.0 bore head that moved 340 cfm on a 427. Someone mentioned 750 capable... if they work well more like 800-900

We have 6-7 sets of the PRC LS7 heads already sold & being assembled next week. I'll keep you guys posted as we get more results. I plan on installing a set on the shop L99 car this week.

One thing to keep in mind this is a LS7 / LS7 intake setup so it makes the smaller motors rev & act like a LS7 car. The power peaks are moved up like a Z06.

That really is going to be where these heads shine (LS3 strokers), in my opinion! They're going to make great peak power on the stock stroke stuff, but like Jason said, the powerband is moved up enough that they really need to rev higher!

How about a 416? I would love to see this with a nice street cam. Give me more reasons to start saving for a better engine.

Hopefully not a stupid question >.<

But will these heads fit on an LQ4/LQ9 6.0L truck block?

I've been researching that the max bore on these is around 4.060" and I've seen a limited amount of cases in which a 4.070" and 4.080" bore was used (obviously pending sonic testing and also maxing the block out leaving no room for error/mistakes etc).

They are meant for L92, LS3 and L99 blocks with a 4.065 bore.

On a LS3/418. All out race car.
Which intake would be better on these heads, Fast 102 or Vic Jr.
And what would be a good cam to run.
These heads sound great.
