Answer my question. Are you claiming that SDPC sold you a 427 LS3 shortblock with the wrong size wrist pins?

Funny how when children don't get their way, they start telling people to STFU.

Lol, respectfully disagreeing here. This thread has been an absolute learning experience for me, in multiple ways. Just want to drop a thanks to KCS, S10xGN, 1slow01Z71, the SCDP guys, 1BADDz, and the like for all the insight.

I have no clue what happened here but it's nice to see SDPC step in and try to help, I've been following the thread to see the outcome, but it has all be pretty vague up until this point lol!

Yes (from what a mechanic said by how the rods jiggle on the piston pins) or someone didn't put the proper bushings in the rods and is why it's making the noise followed by Piston Slap... I have the engine right here right now out of the truck. Been that way for awhile and for clarity I have never taken the entire rotating assembly out of the engine. I have my reasons. Look I dunno what happened, and this is their Shortblock. SDPC has treated us wrong since they destroyed the original engine in this truck and wouldn't stand behind it, and it's been a downhill battle ever since. And honestly right now I'm ecstatic. The CNC-Motorsports 415 is in the truck and sounds amazing. Just like an engine should. I'm at peace so can we all forget this dumb thread I started and let it go?

You said you have never taken the entire rotating assembly apart, which means you have taken some of it apart.

What bushings go inside the pistons?

So SDPC is lying a few pages back when they said they have tried to contact you?

I have wasted the last twenty minutes of my life reading this thread. I thought I had ADD bad, geez.

I think I have earned the right to comment in this thread after reading it.

You are a squirrel.

If he had any reputable mechanic call SDPC and say we found "x" size pin in "x" size rod end in this motor and sent pics of said rods and pins, SDPC would have stepped up and fixed the problem..But like SDPC said, no communication from the customer, no pics, etc...So yes a squirrel with no nuts...
