gotta valley cover question someone help
gotta valley cover question someone help ok i got a 07 and up 5.3 block that ive bored and made a forged ls1. my question is...
the block has the towers in the valley. but im not using it for dod cause its goin in a 67 camaro. do i need to do anything special like plug the holes or get the orings when i get a valley cover or can i just leave the holes like they are and act like there not there??

From what I've heard, and gone through, is that you will need an LS2/3 cover with the correct number of bolt holes, different gasket than the DoD cover, and the cover must have the O-rings in place to cap the towers so oil can be displaced properly throughout the engine, and to the lifter assembly.
