Default Head Gasket? LS2 w/ LS3 Heads

Ive searched and read:

I can use a LS2/L76 gasket when installing LS3 heads (the L76 is a 6.0 w/ L92 heads btw)

from searches I've also read:

Use must use a LS3/L92 head gasket with L92/LS3/L76 heads as the gasket will hang in the chamber.

Can someone set the record strait?

Too me it seems using a LS2/L76 gasket should be fine, as the L76 uses these damn heads!

I spent $75 for LS2/L76 gaskets and want to know if I should send them back.

Help a brother out, thanks.

I dont know if you can use either but on my current built, ly6, Which is a 6.0 with l92 heads I was told I could use ls3 headgaskets because they're much cheaper then the truck gaskets.

You need to run whatever the larger of the two bores is. In this situation you would want to run an LS3 gasket so it matches the bore of the larger heads.
