Default New Gen 5.3
Does the new gen 5.3 come with l92 style ports ?
I saw one the other day and it had the 4 bolt throttle body ...

And if it does which heads is it using... can i use those heads on a 5.7 and do a lsa blower ??

No, the GM rectangular port heads need a 4.0 bore or bigger.

so what type of port do those new 5.3 intakes have

they have those 4 bolt 90mm throttle body openings

they have cathedral ports, dont remember the Tb diameter though, a quick google should get you some info on that.

Gen IV 5.3 has cathedral ports and uses the 243/799 heads with flat top pistons. TB is 87mm.

Isn't the 243 the LS6 head? If so, is the 799 really the same thing?
