I'd run the stock lifters.
P to V, your going to be in contact for sure. I would mock it up and check where you are at exactly, then flycut accordingly

Stock lifter sound good for your setup , the LS7 's are the stock replacement lifters now ,and are a good performance lifter as well, .but go to the dealer or a sponsor on here to get them , Most of the parts store around town will sale you what ever they have that will fit your engine.

When you say "stock" you mean "new stock" right? This 6.0 has 106k on it. If I were 2 lazy & didnt feel like flycutin, how much milling is safe? While i'm having the heads milled how much HP can be gained from a valve job on 3gen heads? As you can prolly tell this is my first LS...

Yes, New stock style lifters , No body really know how much to fly cut, Its best to clay the piston to valve clearance ,I beleave the min. piston to valve clearance is .100" on the intake & .080" on the exhaust valves

.080" on intake is safe, .100" exhaust. exhaust clearance is usually not a problem with a mild cam.

A cam with a 108LSA is going to have the valves ALOT closer to the pistons at and around TDC on overlap, than a cam w/ 114 like what I have in my 6.0 dish piston engine right now. Your 238/242 cam has more duration than my cam as well, which give me more PtoV than you. I have not milled heads at all and I am at .120" on the intake .280" exhaust.
All this lead me to beleive that you are going to be very close to contact without milling at all.
Bottom line is you HAVE to check it yourself to know where your at.

3pedals.. what exacty are your specs....I use lightspring method with a degree wheel 2 check p2v clearance. I think i'll take the stock head gasket & mic it. Set head back on check p2v & that should give me I decent idea??? Also have a good friend that works @ a machine shop who was talking bout taking care of me for cheap .. Like 1300 for pistons/rods/rings bearings/machine work..Hard to decide weather to slap it together w/rod bolts/cam/heads or wait a lil longer. Again ne idea on hp gain from a valve job???

227/235 @ .050, .613, .624 lift, 114LSA+4. It runs well with my otherwise stock LY6, but I will be upgrading in the spring.

3Pedals, when you upgrade, checkout the Lunati's(made by morel) or Morels link bar lifters....give you better stability with the high rpm your turning.......

Stay away from the Caddy lifters and you'll be fine. The stock LS7 replacements from GM replace all the LSX series lifters now. Get these and they should be fine....
