Default l92-ls3 et thread ?Call me Crazy!

Well like the title implies, how about a thread that actually has some merit to it, instead of one which speaks of supposed power numbers that dont seem to translate into anything specific.
Lets hear about l92-ls3 combos, and what et's top end speed, etc, they actually run, and what is your weight, combo, and from there we can deduce the REAL hp numbers
This will seperate ALL the dyno queens in here
ANYONE GAME?

416 with L92 heads,L76intake, 17/8 " headers with duals, 4l60E with 4500 circle D vert. 4.11's and a strange 12 bolt.
10.70's @ 127 to 128 on 18's all around. On MT drag radials 1.5's 60 ft's.
This is a street car driven to and from the track. It weighs 3470 with a half tank of fuel no driver.

Saving for full slicks or a 15" drag radial to let her eat.

all these 500+ rwhp l92 combos dont run or et ???????????
imo chassis dyno numbers are tools, and in my opinion have no bearing in the real world, when it comes to on track performance in most cases
ok im done ranting lol
There are alot of 10's here and many above 11.4 on a factory cheap budget,no good, slow port velocity heads......lol

You ve made a lot of statments hating on the L92/LS3 head, just seems weird that you would start this thread, does not seem that it was started to be positive or to try to gain useful info but to try to say that guys are not running well at the track and are dynos queens.... and the dynos don't match track times......

Seems that you claim to be well informed on drag racing and you should know that ET is not a tell all of total power or power produced... The car with the fastest et is the car with the best complete combination.....

just sayin.... Whats your motive? If you don't like em or believe in them, then why start the thread?

It's amusing, but 10.7 seems to be exactly half of the results so far.

Hm Bozzhog,
it seems as though you have become my ls1 stalker
As for me looking to stir the pot, or put down anyones combo,im merely looking to see how these combos fair in the real world ,when theres no dyno straps attached
as for your attempt to educate me on the entire package being relevant, in et numbers,i am very aware of this, and therefore can deduce from responses given ,just how much of role an underperforming chassis plays
At one time i was going to run a sqaure port head, and in some cases wish i would have, but i am where im at now and im confident in my selection
Besides like i said, there should be nothing to hide fromanyone telling the truth?Correct?
Happy new year

I think most of these combos are all pretty much street setups with heat , A/C stock 18 inch rims etc. There are no lightweights in the bunch either.

I thought about tossing my motor into my notchback to see exactly what it can do @ 2700#`s .

I'm not saying it is bad. I'm saying if you ask thousands of people their results whats the statistical probability you would get the same answer half the time?
