is 75 psi oil pressure too high?

My old LS2 with ARE single stage dry sump idled at 40 and went to 80+ at WOT when cold. I would allow the oil to heat up (idling 15 min before going on track) to 140 degrees (15w50 for hot texas racing) and would wait until oil was greater than 185 (and max pressure was 75psi at redline) before hammering on it. Higher than that did not seem safe. My old LS3 with the same dry sump setup behaved exactly the same way. My new L92 will have a high volume pump from Summit with the same external single stage ARE. I didn't need more pump but I am just making sure it is safe.

Friend of mine had a Winnebago w/BBC in it and it showed 80psi at idle. Turned out to be a bad oil pressure sending unit.
