there going to have 5-6 different tops for it. Dual 4500 and 4150, a blank carb tops too, but the runner inlets are pretty symmetrical so dont need much flange cant like some of the cast single planes.

Hmmm, I wonder if making a top from a piece of flat 3/8" plate would allow enough clearance underneath for adequate flow dispersion...

Should be available late February and March. Will be available drilled for injectors and without for carb applications. Pricing should be out in February, probably more like end of the month.

Holley has a new line of aluminum carburetors that I'd like to try along with a carb intake, that might one bad *****... Or I could do EFI.... Decisions decisions...

Why cant these place make intakes that will fit under the stock hoods? I don't want to cut my car up just to fit a intake on it and have to buy a big *** hood and I don't want to spend over $2500 plus dollars! I guess I will stay with my FAST 102mm intake.

These are not intended for stock applications. If you want it to look stockish, you already know what to do.

Not stock here! Sean from ERL likes one more think then they will start on my motor. Motor will be the LS6 Long Block 427 Super deck l They are doing the top end as well. The head is the AFR 225 big bore. ERL will work the heads and fix them to take a 1/2" head bolt. FAST intake 102mm and the 102 TB. Turbo is a T6 GT4788 JGS 60mm wastegate and BOV. Liquid to air intercooler 160lb injectors, meth kit FAST fuel rails. 100shot of NOS. Josh @ KYTurbo will install the turbo making the piping and putting the Holly Dominator EFI computer in and tune. Trans, 4l80e HD Stage 3. All the goodies under the car. I am probably forgetting a lot of stuff.

Unless you are talking about an all out race car. To me they are more doing build like mine than they are doing an all out race car. Looks like they would look at that and make a good intake for ppl that don't want to do all that cutting on their car.

As you mentioned the FAST intakes are quite good and are a go-to intake to fit in the tight confines of a 4th gen's engine compartment.

This is more of a long runner, max power part that we'll see on builds ranging from 600 hp all motor combos to 2000 hp all-out race efforts.

Unless those runners protrude into the plenum, it is a shorter runner intake than the norm.

Default Suggested Retial Pricing

I just talked with the product development guys.

I won't talk about list pricing, lets talk about suggested retail.

On the Manifold kit with EFI and the single throttle body at the front.

With fuel rails and a 92MM opening 649.95

With fuel rails and a 102MM opening 699.95

If you want a base with a Dominator or 4150 dual carb base 599.95

Of course the carb kit manifolds do not come with fuel rails or are they machined for injector bungs.

But lets say you want a base for EFI and a top for Dominator or 4150 Throttle bodies, then it would be suggested retail of 499.95 for the base and 149.95 for either flat top.

Should be ready to ship at the end of March. I have seen machined manifolds so they are for real!

Very interesting and pricing seems extremely reasonable. Are they going to be available for cathedral port heads? I'm going to stay subscribed to this thread for sure!

Robin,

Could you ask them (or engineering) what the effects of making a completely flat top plate would be? The pix I've seen looks like your top plates are all cast and add around 2" - 3" additional height...

And, do you plan on making a single 4150 top, or is that what a blank top is all about? Thanks for the info Robin. Eric L

How tall would the EFI version be? I know the Truck intakes are tall but wondering how they compare. Not to worried about height, have plenty of that
