Default LS2 cam sensor clearance with cloyes double roller

Dad and i put my shortblock back together sunday (broken timing chain in october and ensuing carnage). going with a cloyes double roller this time and after getting it installed and the new melling 10296 clearanced/installed, we put the front cover on. now the cam sensor is hitting the cam gear.

has anyone used a cloyes (or perhaps other?) double roller in their build?

what did you do about the cam sensor?

thanks

Just file the corner off the sensor till it clears and it will be fine. I have done several and no problems.

I'm running into the same issue with my new 402 build. Is there any chance you have pictures on where exactly you filed it down and how much?
