Default New 408 buildup

So i know this may be a loaded question but,
im interested in peoples opinion of what type of HP/rpm range this combo may operate in?
combo is,
408 in LS based engine
4.030" bore
4.00" stroke CALLIES CRANK
14.7 compression Wiseco piston
043 043 3mm low tension ring pack
6.125" CALLIES COMPSTAR rods
Autokraft oil pan
268-276 @050 692-685"w 1.8 shaft rocker
tight lash CAMMOTION 55 MM SOLID roller
3/8" MANTON 120" WALL PUSHRODS
245ccLSX TRICK FLOW 13.5 DEGREE heads cnc'd w some hand blending done also- 2.100 hollow stem int valves -1.6 exh valves
both weigh 91-92 grams
flow numbers-int 360cfm-exh 270cfm both at 650" lift
ported super vic intake w modified hp 1000 carb
GZ vacuum pump set up fpr 12" or so
1-7/8 header to 3.5 in exhaust
Im hoping for it to peak at 7300-7500 rpm or so?
Any HP/ET guesses ?

Sounds great although cam could ba a lil bigger but still nice. I am sure it will pul into that rpm range if it's a normal LSA.

Hey Erik,

Thanks for chiming in
Its ironic that the heads im running, were originally built for you by TEA according to Mike Schmit over there
I think he said they were done for an engine masters project for you??, and had some other little extra work done to them ,but for some reason werent used so i got em for a good deal
Anyways,i would have liked to have ran more cam,but i was limited in PTV room, and also figured id just have to twist it higher anyways if i upd the duration much
Maybe on the next motor i plan on building(ls7 based),i may try some more cam,ti valves, amongst other things
This is a feeler motor ,to get my feet wet in the LS world so to speak
Thanks
Nick

Sounds like a real nice build. I would easily expect between 750-800 fwhp.
