LS3 headers

I have a question about LS3 heads exhaust ports and headers. Are the exhaust ports specific to LS3 heads or can I use any header that is applicable to my vehicle and have no problem? Thanks

You just use ls headers the ls3 exhaust port is not specific

The LS3 heads have a D shaped exhaust port while earlier LS1 and 2 have it round. So you can use a header meant for LS1s on the LS3 port because of overhang, but you can't go the other way.
