Default Reluctor wheel?

Any tips for changing one? I have a ls7 in peices and I want to put a 24 tooth on it. Do they have to be clocked?

Oh, yes! The clocking is as important as the runout. Do a search, someone here made a tool to do this. Beats paying $250 for the Goodson tool...

GET THE GOODSON JIG! Keep in mind you will have to heat the ring, for a good tight fit. Just do a quick search, I know there are instructions on here somewhere.

I screwed around for 2 months trying to figure out how i could get the reluctor wheel on without the jig. Long story short the goodson tool arrived yesterday. It sucks but now that I have one I can make one. LOL
