What pushrod and lengths for me?
What pushrod and lengths for me? Last year before I put my car away for winter I'm sure I slightly bent a pushrod from an over-rev at the track, the engine had a very slight tick at idle. I'm running an internally stock ls2.
For now I'm not upgrading the cam or anything, and would like to just install new pushrods.
Would it be best to go with a new set of stock GM pushrods, or should I just go with a set of Comp Cams chromemoly pushrods?
Also, since nothing is really adjustable as far as I know, if I bought the comp cams ones should I just measure my stock pushrods and order from that number, or buy a pushrod length checker?

If nothing has been changed in the top end , like different head gaskets thickness or shaved head or decked the block or valve job, any thing that can change the distance between rocker arm to lifter, you should be fine with stock length push rods. But it dont hurt to check the length for a peace of mind.
but as far as length goes you should be fine with stock length Thanks for the feedback. Nothing at all has changed. I think I am going to buy a pushrod length checker just to be on the safe side, and order from what I measure with that.
