Default H/C swap ls2 no spark

I swapped heads for Performance Induction 245 LXR and a custom cam from Flowtech. The car started and ran for a good 10 minutes. The tuner said that every code for the cam position sensor was showing. Turned car off for maybe 2 minutes. Now nothing!!
Pulled out a spark plug and cranked and had no spark. Tach also showed 0 during all of this. I have searched as seems that it would still start and run with the cam shaft sensor not reading. Heck, it did run for a while!! What could have went wrong in the time it took to put in the wide band???
Going to bring the car home tomorrow and possibly check all the grounds, but what else should be checked? I'm thinking replace the cam shaft position sensor.
Thank you guys. It's been a painful journey!!!

Well the ground I'm not sure. It's a long story but car was at the shop and I went and finished putting it together today. It is possible that it didn't get put on before I got there. I do know I never touched it. Everything was buttoned up except pushrods. I will look at it tomorrow and let you know if that was it
Thanks for the guidance. Stay tuned....

The one im speaking of is very low. I didnt know it was there until i removed my head. It can very easily be missed. I made a mental note so i will reconnect the wire before i install the head.

Ya with all the hands that were working on it, I'm sure it could get missed. And you think that the car would start though the first couple of times until we moved it? Maybe it was just laying inthe right spot and we bumped it off.

I had originally taken the car to the tuner with no MAF, and he basically said I was a ******* backwoods hillbilly if I thought SD was going to work better... So I bought the MAF. He said that the car would never run good without the MAF, and SD was not good for my power range...

The crank sensor wiring or connecter will also cause a no spark or run condition. it will not show codes.

The car will run well with a MAF. I'm still running one. If you plan on driving it year round on the street the MAF is better. It allows for temp, and weather changes better then SD. The 85mm MAFs are good for 600rwhp. If tuned correct SD will work. Most cars run SD in FI applications

most people that do not have good tuning skills would say this. a mass air tune allows you to be slightly off on the tune and let the mass air make up for the imperfections. an sd tune must be dead on right to get the best performance. ive drove my car year round, all kinds of different wether and not had a single problem. to each his own though.

I agree. Most tuners won't take their time to get SD right. If you plan on racing such as bracket racing etc. You can make very small changes to account for changing conditions with SD.

Checked the ground on drivers side. It's bolted down. I'm going to change out cam position sensor just because the codes when it was running indicate it's bad

Are you sure? There are 2 of them. One is visible, that gets bolted with the wire harness bracket and the other is not visable. It bolts just above where the head meets the deck. You would never know it was there.

I just took a pic of my motor or whats left of it.
You can see the upper ground next to the wire harness hanger. The other is near my header. This is the one in question.
