The LS2 Intake Manifold is definitely worth porting. We find customers getting between a 9 and 13 rwhp gain with our Basic Porting and 15-20 rwhp gain with our Radical Porting. After hearing from other forum members, I think you will find that it is worth it to have this professionally done. For more information on the difference between Basic and Radical porting, you can go to our web site at http://www.peakspeedshop.com/ . We are a supporting vendor of LS1Tech.

Pricing for Basic Porting is $250 (includes return shipping)
Pricing fro Radical Porting is $370 (includes return shipping)

If we port your throttle body at the same time, we charge just $75 additional.

Yes, it has been shown to gain a good 10rwhp or so, maybe more depending on how aggressive you do the porting.

For around 2-300 bux it's very well worth it, unless you got a big cam and heads you can't beat the dollar/hp.

thanks guys....i figured it had to help sense , from what i understand, the LS2 intake isnt very good stock. what would be the turn around time on an intake port job and how much more hp would porting the throttle body be worth ?

It is currently taking us 2-3 days to turn this around once your parts are received. We ship them back to you (in US) by FedEx Ground which generally takes 3-4 days for delivery. Porting the throttle body will gain a few horsepower, but more than that you will appreciate the crisper throttle response.
