Default cam sensor high voltage on new engine

ok ive done some searching but noone seems to have the same situation i have.
i took a 2008 5.3 block and made an iron block ls1, i put a ls9 cam in it which has the cam sensor on the front of the cover and i put the gto ls1 cam sprocket on it which is on half off half. now i just sent it to texas speed and got it back and now im getting a p0343 code along with some emissions codes. is it possible it could be in the tune? like if they tuned for the wrong sprocket? its a brand new sensor? how can i check the output or input of the sensor?

You can't tune the reluctor count in the computer. That is in the operating system flashed in the computer by GM. The 1x will match up to a 24x crank reluctor. I just did some looking and the '08 5.3L shows to have come with a 58X crank reluctor. Did you change it back to a 24X? What reluctor does the computer are you running? You could have the wrong upper gear on it. You need a 4X upper gear to run with the 58X crank.

Good talking to you. Glad the harness is all it turned out to be!

Fill the coolant from the upper radiator hose, so that water sits on the thermostat enough to open it. Leave the cap off and run it for 1 or 2 minutes, re-install the cap. Run it to operating temperature, then shut it off and let it cool. Top off the coolant. Repeat.
