No lsx alum block. Rhs is way better even if GM did make the lsx in alum.

ERL blocks are just as strong as lsx blocks and you can do 6 bolt also.

Default lsx alum blk.....

Is the same thing I'm thinking, with the same bore capacity as the Iron brother, and the same price, they can put me up for one rite now, so i can finally build a 4" stroke all alum 441Ci Mast headed lsx/ls7. O i allready have the Iron brother of the same, by the way, but to make it a 100 pounds lighter , will go to work....ala camsta.....

The RHS block is grait piece, i just think the max bore diameter is lacking, and the price should be mare like 3k, so the rest of us can reach out too, David.

In my opinion, GMPP is exercising poor judgement by not casting the LSX block out of aluminum. If it were me, I'd cast a few of the current design LSX blocks out of aluminum being careful not to shift the cores. CNC the block for sleeves, build it and put it on the engine dyno for torture testing. It's not a big investment, because it just a material change (aluminum) with the addition of sleeves.

I know you guy don't like the World Products stuff, but you could at least mention the existence of a decent aluminum LS7 block. Yes, I'll put the flame suit on...

BTW I haven't heard of one of their blocks going south that isn't builder related.

It's not that nobody likes World products. I have heard from more then one reputable builder that the World Blocks need alot of attention when using. Not that the product isn't good, but they have/had along way to go to be up to par with the rest of the blocks

If I remember correctly the world tall deck block has a slighter taller deck height than the other versions out there. I think it is a 10.2, but I could be off a little.
