Timing chain question

Timing chain question Bought an ls3 crated motor and I'm having a G6X3 cam installed with supporting pushrods and valve springs needed for it.
Just wondering if most would suggest replacing the ls3 chain (which is new) with an ls2 or something stronger?
I can't find out anything 100% if these are the same or if the ls2 may be stronger since most suggest others with ls6 motors to use a stronger "ls2" chain.
My ls6 motor had a timing chain failure and just want a little added security to it this time. Its getting an ati pulley on it this time, old motor had an asp pulley which most think was the reason for the break.

Or you can have a piece of mind and get a C5r timing chain from katech and replace the chain tensioner with an Ls2 dampner. I have read alot of those failing on the new camaro's. You might also want to check for PTV clearances with that cam. Some need fly cutting and some don't.
